Welcome to Billboard.com’s weekly makeup tutorial series, “Rock the Look”. This week, celebrity makeup artist Blondie recreates the no-makeup-makeup look she did on model and teen style icon, Sofia Richie, for her very first Billboard cover.
To get the look, Blondie first prepped the face with a moisturizing serum like Glossier's Super Bounce and spritzed the face with rose water. She then applied NARS tinted moisturizer in Alaska all over the face using a flat foundation brush, starting from the middle of the face and working outwards. This helps highlight the features. For a fresh glow, Blondie applied Bronzing Powder in Laguna to the forehead, tops of cheeks, bridge of nose and chin and cheekbones, finishing off with a bright pink blush, like Gaiety, along the cheekbones and apples of the cheeks.
Since Sofia is naturally beautiful, Blondie just enhanced her features using NARS' Duo Eyeshadow palette in Portobello, laying the lighter taupe all over the lid and applying the darker brown to the crease, blending with a fluffy brush. Then, using a pencil brush, she applied the same crease color under the lower lashline for that "smudgy, rocker girl vibe." She finished off the eyes with two coats of cult classic Maybelline Great Lash mascara in Blackest Black.
To top off the whole look, Blondie applied Roman Holiday, a sheer, hot pink, to the lips with a lip brush, following the natural shape of the lips.
