Zac Brown Band is aiming for its third No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with its latest release, Jekyll + Hyde. Industry forecasters say the set, which was released on April 28, may move more than 210,000 equivalent album units in the week ending May 3.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The new Billboard 200’s top 10 will be revealed on Wednesday, May 6.

Jekyll + Hyde is the group’s first album for John Varvatos Records through Republic Records and Big Machine Label Group. The act was previously signed to Atlantic Records.

If Jekyll + Hyde starts as large as expected, it should easily secure the act its third straight No. 1 full-length studio effort, following Uncaged (in 2012) and You Get What You Give (2010). Both of those albums debuted at No. 1.

Zac Brown Band Earns Rare Crossover Chart Coronation

The band recently made big chart news as only the second act to ever reach No. 1 on both the Country Airplay and Mainstream Rock Songs chart. The group’s “Heavy Is the Head,” featuring Chris Cornell, topped the Mainstream Rock Songs chart dated May 9. Zac Brown Band has led the Country Airplay chart 11 times, most recently with “Homegrown” for three weeks in April.

Other albums heading for high debuts next week include Josh Groban‘s Stages (which could move around 125,000) and Tyler Farr‘s Suffer in Peace (30,000).
