YOLA Fest Reschedules Due to ‘Production Issues,’ Adjusts Lineup With Sophie, Empress Of & More
The three artists join previously announced performers Lykke Li, Cat Power, Courtney Love & The Chateau Band, Megan Thee Stallion and CupcakKe that will play at the inaugural festival.

YOLA Fest is moving to Aug. 18 with a slightly altered lineup due to “production issues,” it was announced Tuesday (May 28). New performers include Sophie, Kelsey Lu and Empress Of.
The three artists join previously announced performers Lykke Li, Cat Power, Courtney Love & The Chateau Band, Megan Thee Stallion and CupcakKe that will play at the inaugural festival, which is now called YOLA DÍA. Charli XCX and Mexican-Dominican musician Ambar Lucid are no longer listed as part of the all-female lineup on the event’s website.
The 21-and-older Live Nation-produced festival, which was previously scheduled for June 8, will remain at the Los Angeles State Historic Park and all tickets previously purchased will be honored. If ticketholders aren’t able to attend the newly announced date, they will be eligible for refunds prior to July 9.
YOLA DÍA is named after and will be put on by YOLA Mezcal, a female-run mezcal brand from Oaxaca, Mexico, founded by Lykke Li, Yola Jimenez and Gina Correll Aglietti. The company employs only women in their hand-bottling facility and sales force, and is committed to furthering the economic independence of women in Oaxaca.
