WMA has launched its fourth global office with WMA Nashville, joining operations in New York, Los Angeles and London. Hannah Dudley is joining the company to lead operations in Nashville as head of marketing strategy.
“Since first visiting Nashville in 2007 to calling it home for almost three years, it’s an absolute gift to be able to use my experience and skills to contribute to such a thriving and exciting scene, and with WMA uniquely set to help position artists on a global stage, I’m thrilled to begin this next chapter with them and grateful for Seb’s on-going support,” she said.
In 2015, Dudley moved from London to Nashville to launch her own marketing consultancy, after having started her career in London at EMI, where she led digital strategy for such artists as The Beatles and David Bowie. She eventually moved on to become head of digital at Warner UK, overseeing multiple Top 10 albums, including Pink Floyd‘s No. 1 The Endless River.
After settling in Nashville, Dudley became vp of marketing strategy and new business at Sony Nashville, overseeing all marketing, brand partnerships and international strategy for the company. She played a hand in the No. 1 album launches of new artists Kane Brown and Grammy winner Maren Morris, as well as Kenny Chesney and Miranda Lambert.
Seb Weller, global CEO and founder said, “With the continued success of country music on streaming platforms we’re excited to get the chance to help support Nashville based talent and brands with their global digital ambitions. With the addition of Hannah we’re also extremely pleased to welcome another amazing and experienced executive to our 50 strong global WMA team.”
