The 20-position Songs of the Summer running tally tracks the most popular titles based on cumulative performance on the weekly streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Billboard Hot 100 chart from Memorial Day through Labor Day (this year encompassing charts dated June 6 through Sept. 5). At the end of the season, the top song of the summer will be revealed.
“Rockstar” has topped the weekly Hot 100 for seven weeks, this week holding at No. 2 for a second frame.
The next four titles on Songs of the Summer also remain in place: The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” (No. 2); Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage,” featuring Beyoncé (No. 3); Jack Harlow’s “Whats Poppin,” featuring DaBaby, Tory Lanez and Lil Wayne (No. 4); and Saint Jhn’s “Roses” (No. 5).
Plus, Lewis Capaldi’s “Before You Go” enters Songs of the Summer at No. 20, as it bounds to No. 11, a new high, on the Hot 100.
