Travis Barker hits No. 1 on Billboard‘s Rock Producers chart (dated June 6), leading for the first time thanks to a trio of production credits on the latest Hot Rock Songs chart.
Machine Gun Kelly’s “Bloody Valentine,” which Barker solely produced and co-wrote with MGK, Derek Smith and Nick Long, ranks at No. 3 on Hot Rock Songs, with 5.2 million U.S. streams (up 137%) and 4,000 downloads sold (up 29%), according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
Here’s a look at all three of Barker’s production credits on the latest Hot Rock Songs chart:
Rank, Artist Billing, Title (producers in addition to Barker)
No. 3, Machine Gun Kelly, “Bloody Valentine”
No. 5, jxdn, “Angels & Demons” (Keith Varon)
No. 12, iann dior feat. Machine Gun Kelly & Travis Barker, “Sick And Tired” (Omer Fedi)
Barker also co-wrote all three songs, helping push him 5-2 on the Rock Songwriters chart. He previously led the list for a week in October 2019, thanks to 14 Blink-182 songwriting credits, plus a credit on “I Think I’m OKAY,” by Barker, Machine Gun Kelly and Yungblud.
Meanwhile, twenty one pilots’ Tyler Joseph logs his 19th week at No. 1 on the Rock Songwriters chart, as he’s credited as the sole writer of the duo’s “Level of Concern,” which spends its seventh week atop the Hot Rock Songs chart.
The weekly Rock Songwriters and RockProducers charts are based on total points accrued by a songwriter and producer, respectively, for each attributed song that appears on the Hot Rock Songs chart; As with Billboard‘s yearly recaps, multiple writers or producers split points for each song equally (and the dividing of points will lead to occasional ties on rankings).
