Tori Kelly Signs Global Deal With Sony/ATV: Exclusive
Kelly is hard at work on her sophomore album.

Tori Kelly has signed a long-term, worldwide deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Billboard can reveal.
The Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter joins the Sony/ATV stable as she gets to work on the followup to her debut full-length album Unbreakable Smile, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in July 2015.
“I’m thrilled to be part of the Sony/ATV Publishing family and eager to start working together to create my next project,” comments Kelly in a statement. “I can’t wait to see what the future holds as I continue to develop as an artist.”
Tori Kelly won America’s Most Talented Kids when she was 11, advanced to Hollywood Week on American Idol in 2010 and became a YouTube sensation after her cover of Frank Ocean’s “Thinkin Bout You” went viral in 2012. A breakout performance at the Billboard Music Awards launched her into the public sphere and a Billboard Women in Music “Breakthrough Artist” honor followed in 2015.
There’s no release date yet for Kelly’s sophomore album. Though her manager and SB Projects founder Scooter Braun is pumped for it.
“Tori is an incredible talent that needs to be shown to the world. That is the way I have always felt and this partnership is just another step in continuing her incredible journey,” Braun comments. “I can’t tell you how excited I am for her next album.”
