Tomorrow’s Hits: The Magician, Shayna Leigh & Shy Glizzy

Each Friday, Billboard presents Tomorrow's Hits, a weekly look at new and noteworthy acts making their way toward Billboard chart success.

The Magician

Belgian DJ/producer The Magician (aka, Stephen Fasano) has materialized with his debut chart hit, “Sunlight,” which climbs 28-21 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay. The clubby Parlophone/Warner Bros. single, featuring Years and Years, first visited a Billboard list on July 12, when it arrived on  Billboard + Twitter Emerging Artists chart (later peaking at No. 7). The Magician has remixed acts including Chromeo, Clean Bandit and Lykke Li. –Keith Caulfield (@keith_caulfield)

Shayna Leigh

Shayna Leigh gives the gift of holiday cheer to adult contemporary radio with her original song “Wake Me When It’s Christmas” (Lucky Chip). The track’s release puts a bow on a busy 2014 for the Orlando, Florida, pop singer/songwriter: she released her first two EPs, The Cold Hard Truth and the Dream and Hey Shayna Leigh. After touring with Howie Day in the summer, Leigh is currently playing dates with Sister Hazel. –Gary Trust (@gthot20)

Shy Glizzy

(*Language in video NSFW) Unsigned rapper Shy Glizzy lacks no confidence with his pro-self anthem “Awwsome,” which arrives at No. 22 on Rap Airplay and advances 28-27 on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop. After the track first generated viral buzz, KNDA Corpus Christi, Texas, is helping to champion it, having played it 37 times in the week ending Nov. 30, according to Nielsen BDS. Shy Glizzy dropped his mixtape Law 3: Now or Never Dec. 2. –Amaya Mendizabal (@amayayayaya)
