French duo Lillywood and German DJ Robin Schulz‘s hypnotic “Prayer in C” (RRP) is beginning its rise Stateside after topping charts in 15 countries, including the Official U.K. Singles chart for two weeks in September. First released by the former in 2010, Schulz’s remix has spurred its global growth. The track enters its first domestic airplay chart, starting on Dance/Mix Show Airplay at No. 25. –Gary Trust
Logic
Def Jam’s Logic launches at No. 16 on Rap Digital Songs with “Driving Ms. Daisy,” featuring Childish Gambino (13,000 sold in its opening week, according to Nielsen SoundScan). The 24-year-old rapper is prepping his major-label debut, Under Pressure (executive produced by No I.D.), due Oct. 21. The release follows four mixtapes that have garnered the emcee a thriving online fandom, including 465,000 Facebook followers. –Amaya Mendizabal
Kelsea Ballerini
Kelsea Ballerini bows at No. 60 on Country Airplay with her uptempo, take-charge “Love Me Like You Mean It.” The Knoxville, Tenn., native moved to Nashville at age 15 in hopes of attracting a publishing and recording deal; she achieved both, having been signed to Black River publishing four years later and its label in 2013.
