Tiffany Kumar‘s Beat House agency has aligned with Pulse Music Group in a new joint venture and co-publishing deal, Pulse co-CEOs Josh Abraham and Scott Cutler announced today (July 25).
Launched earlier this year, the Los Angeles-based Beat House spans publishing, label services, A&R and television, as well as social justice initiatives. The agency recently worked with the national organization Alliance for Safety and Justice to partner artists like G-Eazy and Ty Dolla $ign with their #TimeDone campaign, which raises awareness around the legal barriers faced by people living with criminal convictions.
“Tiffany is incredibly talented — she is a magnet for great talent and wherever she goes good music will follow,” commented Abraham. “I speak for the entire Pulse Music Group team in saying we are thrilled to partner with Tiffany in this next phase of her career and we look forward to big things on the horizon with Beat House.”
Prior to founding Beat House, where she also serves as CEO, Kumar was global head of songwriter relations at Spotify, where she launched its Secret Genius brand including awards shows, global songwriting camps and the opening of four recording studios.
“With this joint venture I am humbled to be among the people carving the pathway for women in leadership within the publishing industry,” Kumar shared. “Beat House and Pulse share a vision to go beyond traditional A&R and increase the brand power of songwriters and producers. I look forward to what we will build together.”
