Australian post-punk band the Church will return to North America next year for a monthlong tour culminating with South by Southwest performances in Austin, Texas, as well as a special interview session at the annual music conference.
The tour will come in support of the band’s forthcoming 25th studio album, titled Further/Deeper, which is slated for release Feb. 3. 2015. This next year also marks the band’s 35th anniversary.
The Church’s upcoming tour will be the band’s first outing with new guitarist Ian Haug of Powderfinger, who has replaced longtime member Marty Willson-Piper.
