The extravagantly titled I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It (Dirty Hit/Polydor/Universal) had combined chart sales of 58,000, according to the Official Charts Company. Lukas Graham’s “7 Years” (Warner Bros.) started a fourth consecutive week atop the singles chart.
The 1975’s self-titled debut album debuted at No. 1 in the U.K. in September 2013. The band are on tour at the moment, and start a five-night residency at south London’s Brixton Academy tonight. The album’s “The Sound” made a singles chart climb of 39-24, and the band’s first album also revived, with a 50-40 climb. I Like It When You Sleep… saw off the challenge of Adele’s 25 (XL Recordings), which fell to No. 2.

The new album countdown also saw Justin Bieber moving back 4-3 with Purpose (Def Jam/Universal). David Bowie’s Best of Bowie (Parlophone/Warner Music) dipped 2-4, as Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams (Parlophone/Warner Music) again held at No. 5. Richard & Adam, finalists in the Britain’s Got Talent TV series, hit the top ten for the third time, as Believe — Songs of Inspiration (Sony Masterworks) landed at No. 9.
On the singles chart, “7 Years” had another strong week, with combined chart sales of 106,000. Rihanna’s “Work” (Roc Nation), with Drake, held at No. 2, while U.S. singer-producer Mike Posner jumped 11-3 with “I Took A Pill In Ibiza” (Universal Island).
Swedish singer Zara Larsson’s “Lush Life” (Record Company Ten/Epic/Sony) reached a new peak with a 6-4 climb in its ninth week in the top 100, and Adele landed another top ten hit from 25, as “When We Were Young” moved 13-9. Larsson also features on Tinie Tempah’s “Girls Like” (Parlophone/Warner Music), which debuted at No. 15.
