Tee Grizzley’s Aunt & Manager Dies After Rapper’s Car Is Shot At in Detroit

Tee Grizzley's Cadillac Escalade was reportedly shot down in Detroit on Tuesday night, leaving his manager dead.

UPDATE: Tee Grizzley confirmed the news of his aunt and manager Jobina Brown’s death via Instagram late Friday night (Aug. 23).

Since I was 12 We been going everywhere together how you gone go to heaven without me????” Grizzley wrote in an Instagram caption, accompanied by a video of Brown realizing she’s being filmed and cracking a huge smile. “Idek what to say JB I just wanted to show the world yo smile I love you so much.”

Original story: Tee Grizzley‘s Cadillac Escalade was reportedly shot at in Detroit on Tuesday night, leaving his aunt/manager dead. 

According to TMZ, a gunman opened fire on the rapper’s car, and his 41-year-old aunt and manager, Jobina “JB” Brown, was hit in the backseat. Grizzley, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, and the driver were reportedly unharmed.

It’s unclear whether Tee was the target of the attack, and no further details have been provided to explain the motive behind the shooting.
