Teddy Geiger Extends Co-Publishing Deal With Big Deal Music Group & Family Affair Productions

Big Deal Music Group and Family Affair Productions have extended their global co-publishing deal with Teddy Geiger, it was announced Thursday (Oct. 10).
“I’m so grateful to have everyone at Big Deal & Family Affair as partners in my career,” Geiger said in a statement. “It’s been life-changing to work with a team who truly understand, and care about creativity and I’m beyond excited for this next chapter.”
The companies first signed Geiger in 2014 at the beginning of her collaboration with superstar Shawn Mendes and represent her full catalog of songs. Since then, Geiger has had combined billions of streams on hits songs such as “Treat You Better,” “Mercy,” “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” “Lost In Japan,” the Grammy-nominated “In My Blood,” the BMI song of the year-winning “Stitches” and Mendes’ recent single, “If I Can’t Have You.” Geiger produced and co-wrote 11 songs on Mendes’ Billboard 200-topping self-titled album released last year.
Outside her fruitful collaborations with Mendes, Geiger has also written songs for Maroon 5, Anne-Marie, Dej Loaf, Leon Bridges, Christina Aguilera, One Direction, Tiesto, Matoma, Empire of the Sun, Niall Horan, 5 Seconds of Summer, Birdy, DJ Snake, DNCE and P!nk, among others.
“Teddy’s talent, vision and work ethic have made her one of the most successful and sought-after songwriter/producers in the world,” said Big Deal Music Group co-president Casey Robison in a statement. “We’re thrilled that Teddy will be working with us and our partners at Family Affair for many years to come.”
