Throughout his long career, Ted Nugent has never been able to top a Billboard albums or songs chart, but the rocker can at least say he’s got a No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Facebook Live Videos chart.
The chart, the latest of which recaps November 2019 activity, is a monthly look at the widest-reaching and most-reacted-to videos posted by musicians on Facebook Live, as tracked by media analytics company Shareablee. Rankings are determined by a formula that blends reactions, comments, shares and first-seven-days views.
Nugent’s three-minute clip shows him signing a long line of red “Re-Elect That Motherfucker” hats (which he called the “most important hat in the history of mankind”), meant to resemble President Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” hats. Along the way, he apologized for the delay in getting the hats out to those who had ordered them.
The video was the only upload from a musician in the tracking month to top 1 million views in its first seven days, accruing 1.2 million in all, according to Shareablee. Additionally, it was the week’s most shared by a musician (17,000).
Alex Campos ranks at No. 2 with a video posted Nov. 28. The clip showed the Colombian singer in a hospital bed performing with his guitar; he was recently diagnosed as having an irregular heartbeat.
Campos’ video was reacted to 67,000 times, more than any other musician in November 2019, and the video was also shared 13,000 times.
