The combined power of three Latin male acts fuels a chart topper on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm Airplay chart as Sebastian Yatra, Rauw Alejandro and Manuel Turizo’s “TBT” hits No. 1 on the June 27-dated survey. The track lifts from third place after spending three weeks in the top 10.
“TBT” ascends 3-1 thanks to a lofty 62% in audience impressions (to 12 million) earned in the week ending June 21, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, and pushes up the overall Latin Airplay chart, jumping 5-2.
“TBT” dethrones the Black Eyed Peas’ one-week reign with “Mamacita,” with Ozuna and J.Rey Soul on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart.
“TBT” marks the third No. 1 for Sebastian Yatra who previously ruled the chart for two weeks: “Ya No Tiene Novio,” with Mau y Ricky (Dec. 18) and “Runaway,” with Daddy Yankee, Jonas Brothers and Natti Natasha (Oct. 2019).
Rauw Alejandro picks up his first leader in his fourth try, while Manuel Turizo secures his third No. 1. His first came in October 2018when “Vaina Loca,” with Ozuna, remained atop the chart for three consecutive weeks.
Over on Hot Latin Songs, which blends airplay, digital sales and streaming data, “TBT” takes the Greatest Gainer/Airplay honors and climbs 29-16 with and additional increase in sales and streams: 7% and 3% rise, respectively.
