With ‘Lover’ Title Track, Taylor Swift Ties Elvis Presley For 10th-Most Billboard Hot 100 Top 10s All-Time

"Lover" leaps 19-10, becoming her 25th top 10.

Taylor Swift tallies her 25th top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, tying Elvis Presley for the 10th-most top 10s in the chart’s history.

The pop queen matches the King of Rock and Roll as “Lover” surges from No. 19 to No. 10 in its second week on the streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Hot 100 (dated Sept. 7). The song bounds by 81% to 29.1 million U.S. streams in the week ending Aug. 29, according to Nielsen Music, after its official video arrived Aug. 22.

As previously reported, Swift’s new album Lover, released Aug. 23, launches at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 867,000 equivalent album units (679,000 in album sales).
