Lover album release

Ah, the moment we’ve all been waiting for. So far, we’ve heard four singles, “Me!,” “You Need To Calm Down,” “The Archer,” and the title track. The 18-track album will be available everywhere at midnight. “There are so many ways in which this album feels like a new beginning,” Swift told Vogue in her Sept. cover issue. “This album is really a love letter to love, in all of its maddening, passionate, exciting, enchanting, horrific, tragic, wonderful glory.”

SiriusXM show

Swift isn’t just going to release her album and call it a day — she has a full schedule planned. After Lover is released into the world, she will stop by SiriusXM to play stripped-down versions of the new songs. She will also participate in an intimate Q+A with a select group of subscribers, which will air on SiriusXM Hits 1 (ch. 2) as a SiriusXM Town Hall special at 5 p.m. EST. It will also be available via the SiriusXM app and web player and will be rebroadcasted throughout the weekend. The performance will also be available as a Pandora Stories, which a press release describes as being a place “where artists connect with fans in an intimate way, in their own words, using the power of music.”

iHeartRadio secret session audio special

Also on the same day of the Lover release, Swift will stop by iHeartRadio for an album release party featuring exclusive audio from her secret session. Fans can tune in to listen to the singer talk about the album at 8:00 p.m. EST/5:00 p.m. PST on iHeartRadio Pop, Hot AC and AC stations, as well as on Taylor Swift: Lover Radio on the iHeartRadio app. If you miss anything, don’t sweat it — the special can be heard every 30 minutes, all weekend long.

Aug. 23-25:

“The Lover Experience” New York City pop-up shop

On the same day the album is released, a pop-up store called “The Lover Experience” will open in NYC. The limited merch was made in collaboration with McCartney, and a sneak peek was recently revealed, showing clothing drenched in tie dye, pastel colors, and other whimsical details. (More info about the store will arrive during the Aug. 22 livestream.)

This will be her first VMAs performance since “Bad Blood” in 2015. The show will be broadcasted live from New Jersey’s Prudential Center at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Sept. 2:
