Tanya Tucker Inks Deal With Scott Adkins for Management

Tucker will continue to be represented by Adkins Publicity and has also aligned with Kurt Vitolo for business management.

Multi-Grammy winner Tanya Tucker has inked a management deal with her longtime publicist Scott Adkins, Billboard has exclusively learned. Under the newly-formed Adkins Entertainment, Adkins will represent Tucker as manager in all facets of her career.

“I wake up with a new to-do list every day! Scott and I have accomplished a lot together and we’ve got a lot more to do!” Tucker said via a statement.

“Tanya is a globally revered treasure. When Tanya speaks or sings, within a millisecond, you know it’s her. Her stylistic voice and fierce, badass personality are synonymous with her legacy as a media mogul, who continues to reign as a bonafide superstar entertainer. Tanya may be celebrating 50 years since releasing her mega hit ‘Delta Dawn,’ but she’s only scratched the surface of her indelible career!” Adkins added.

Tucker will also continue to be represented by Adkins Publicity. The entertainer was previously managed by Sawyer & Garner.

Tucker has also aligned with Kurt Vitolo of KV Financial Group for business management. Additionally, Derrek Kupish, Tucker’s longtime photographer, cinematographer and social media manager, has been named creative director. Tucker is also aligned with Wasserman Music for agency representation.

Tucker is currently working on a new album. Like its Grammy-winning predecessor While I’m Livin,’ the forthcoming album will again be produced by Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings and released via Fantasy. At the 2020 Grammy Awards, Tucker’s While I’m Livin’ was named best country album, while a featured song from the album, “Bring My Flowers Now,” won best country song.

Since releasing her breakthrough single “Delta Dawn” at the age of 13 in 1972, Tucker has earned 10 No. 1 Billboard country hits, including “Here’s Some Love,” “If It Don’t Come Easy,” and “Strong Enough to Bend.” She’s also won two Country Music Association honors, including female vocalist of the year in 1991.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Tucker’s breakthrough hit “Delta Dawn,” she is planning to release a re-recorded version of the song, including many of the original studio musicians from the 1972 recording. In addition to releasing her signature tequila, Tanya Tucker’s Cosa Salvaje Tequila, she’s performing a string of headlining shows on her 2022 Hard Luck Tour.
