Summer Walker rules Billboard‘s newly-launched R&B Songwriters chart for the first time, thanks to 14 songwriting credits on the latest Hot R&B Songs chart (dated Oct. 19).

Powering her reign, her debut LP Over It launches at No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 2 on the all-genre Billboard 200 with the largest streaming week ever for an R&B album by a woman in terms of on-demand U.S. audio streams.

Of her 14 Hot R&B Songs entries, six land in the top 10, led by “Playing Games” at No. 2.

Walker dethrones Lizzo and Ricky Reed, the forces behind “Truth Hurts” and “Good as Hell,” who tied atop R&B Songwriters for a week. Before that, Khalid ruled for 17 weeks, dating to the chart’s June inception. (Khalid tied at No. 1 with Howard Lawrence and Guy Lawrence of Disclosure for five of those 17 weeks.)

Walker collaborator London On Da Track (real name: London Holmes) concurrently hits No. 1 on the R&B Producers chart, thanks to his work on Over It, having co-produced 10 of the 14 tracks on the latest Hot R&B Songs chart.

The weekly R&B Songwriters and R&B Producers charts are based on total points accrued by a songwriter and producer, respectively, for each attributed song that appears on the Hot R&B Songs chart. As with Billboard‘s yearly recaps, multiple writers or producers split points for each song equally (and the dividing of points will lead to occasional ties on rankings).
