Sulli’s ‘Goblin’ Hits New High on World Digital Song Sales Chart After Death

Sulli's solo single "Goblin" debuts at No. 14 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart on this week's chart dated Oct. 26, 2019, marking a new high for the late star.

It’s bittersweet chart news for fans of Sulli, the late K-pop star and actress, as she achieves a new chart peak following her death on Oct. 14 at age 25.

Sulli’s solo single “Goblin” debuts at No. 14 on Billboard‘s World Digital Song Sales chart on this week’s chart dated Oct. 26, marking a new high for the late star. Despite being released in June 2019, “Goblin” did not initially bow on the charts, nor did the other two songs, “On the Moon” or “Dorothy,” which were paired with “Goblin” on a three-song single.

Previous to “Goblin” making its debut, Sulli’s first and only appearance on World Digital Song Sales as a soloist was with “Dayfly,” a 2018 collaboration single with DEAN and Rad Museum, that hit No. 17 on the tally. 


As previously reported, during her time as a member of f(x) from 2009 before exiting the girl group in mid-2015, Sulli sold tens of thousands of singles with her band mates. f(x)’s top-selling digital song in the U.S. is the 2012 single “Electric Shock,” with 35,000 downloads sold to date, according to Nielsen Music. It’s followed by 2010’s “Nu Abo” (25,000 sold), 2011’s “Hot Summer” (17,000), 2011’s “Pinokio (Danger)” (15,000) and 2013’s “Rum Pum Pum Pum” (13,000).
