Sukhinder Singh Cassidy Named President of StubHub

StubHub announced on Thursday (April 5) that Sukhinder Singh Cassidy has been named the eBay-owned ticket marketplace's new president.

StubHub announced on Thursday (April 5) that Sukhinder Singh Cassidy has been named the eBay-owned ticket marketplace’s new president. 

She will be based in StubHub’s San Francisco headquarters and report to eBay Inc. CEO Devin Wenig. Singh Cassidy will also become a member of eBay’s executive leadership team.

“Sukhinder is a strong, dynamic leader who has founded and grown online marketplaces throughout her career,” said Wenig in a statement. “She is the right leader to lay the foundation for long term growth and continue StubHub’s international expansion while delivering outstanding fan experiences.”

Singh Cassidy succeeds Scott Cutler in the role, after he was elevated to SVP and head of eBay’s Americas business unit. She brings with her decades of leadership and technology experience, most recently founding theBoardlist, a benefit corporation and premium talent marketplace for boards, started in the technology industry. Previously, she founded Joyus, the first video commerce marketplace online, and was CEO fashion and lifestyle platform Polyvore. She was also founder and SVP of business development at leading financial technology platform Yodlee and has held senior leadership positions at Google, including president of the company’s Asia Pacific and Latin America business for more than five years. 

Singh Cassidy sits on the board of directors of Urban Outfitters and will remain chairman of theBoardlist.
