A good chunk of winners for the upcoming 5th Annual Streamy Awards were announced on Monday, including a few music-related categories. At a nominee reception in L.A. ahead of a live ceremony later this week, Chelsea Briggs and GloZell Green presented 35 winners dotting the worlds of fashion, food, gaming and more.
A trio of music awards were presented at the event, with Shawn Mendes winning breakthrough artist, “Weird Al” Yankovic taking top cover song honors for “Foil” (his parody of Lorde’s “Royals”), and Alessia Cara winning best original song for “Here.”
In addition, the popular “Epic Rap Battles of History” video series won awards for best collaboration, costume design and editing.

Nine additional categories including comedy, pranks and Viner will be announced live from the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 10 p.m. ET on VH1. The Streamys will be hosted by Grace Helbig and Tyler Oakley and will feature musical performances by A Great Big World ft. Futuristic, Future, OMI, Sir Mix-A-Lot and Hailee Steinfeld. Presenters will include Spice Girls alum Mel B., Natasha Bedingfield, Ciara, Sean Kingston and others.
