The Stagecoach country music festival is returning for its 14th year from April 24-26, 2020 at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California.

The Stagecoach country music festival is returning for its 14th year from April 24-26, 2020 at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California.

Thomas Rhett can now “Die A Happy Man” after securing his first headline slot opening the festival Friday night, while Stagecoach veteran Carrie Underwood closes things out on Saturday and  “Desperate Man” Eric Church rounds out the weekend on Sunday, his third headliner set at the massive festival.

“Shattering our all-time attendance record in 2019 only made our team work harder and dive deeper to deliver more to our fans this year,” says festival talent buyer Stacy Vee in a statement. “The Stagecoach 2020 lineup is all about high energy and getting every type of country music fan fired up. On top of this crazy lineup, Guy Fieri is back, Diplo is back, and we have much more in store that is absolutely going to blow minds!”

This year’s lineup features a heavy dose of modern day hit makers Brett Young, Dan + Shay, Dustin Lynch, Midland, Jon Pardi and Morgan Wallen, along with seasoned country veterans like Alan JacksonTanya Tucker and Shenandoah. Bryan Adams will be on hand to celebrate 50 years since that magical “Summer of 69” (the song was released in 1984) while ZZ Top returns to the Stagecoach after rocking the Palomino stage in 2015.

And it couldn’t be a country festival without the smash hit of the summer “Old Town Road” — Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus will each hit the stage Friday and certainly find a way to perform the song that spent a record-breaking 19 weeks at the top of the Hot 100.

The big mystery this year — will Bachelorette runner-up Blake Horstmann return this year after the festival became a love triangle subplot of Bachelor in Paradise? “What happens at Stagecoach doesn’t always stay at Stagecoach,” Vee told Billboard after the show’s season premeire after it was revealed that Horstmann had a great time at last year’s event, although it’s not clear if Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Kristina Schulman felt the same way.
