SoundCloud Hires Alison Moore as Chief Revenue Officer

Digital media veteran Alison Moore has joined SoundCloud as chief revenue officer, overseeing the audio platform's consumer subscription products, marketing and sales strategies across all markets.

Digital media veteran Alison Moore has joined SoundCloud as chief revenue officer, overseeing the audio platform’s consumer subscription products, marketing and sales strategies across all markets. The hire comes as SoundCloud appears closer to launching its paid streaming service and looks to turn its popularity into sizable subscription and ad revenues. Moore will be based in New York City and report to SoundCloud’s CEO Alexander Ljung.

Moore joins SoundCloud from NBC Universal, where she was was GM and evp of the company’s live streaming service TV Everywhere. Prior to NBC she held executive roles at DailyCandy and HBO, where she oversaw consumer experience and operations for HBOGO and the cable net’s other digital platforms.
