Sony Music Entertainment has promoted Jenifer Mallory to executive vice president, international at the major label group.

Sony Music Entertainment has promoted Jenifer Mallory to executive vice president, international at the label group. Based in NYC and reporting to CEO Rob Stringer, Mallory will continue to lead worldwide marketing campaigns for artists signed to Sony’s U.S. labels, which include Columbia and RCA.
Mallory has an impressive list of wins since taking over as svp, international in 2015. The Los Angeles native spearheaded marketing campaigns for global artists, including Pink, The Chainsmokers, Harry Styles and Camilla Cabello, among others. While at Sony, she also executed campaigns for three of the biggest global hits of all time — Pharrell Williams’ “Happy,” Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” and John Legend’s “All of Me.”
Prior to transitioning to senior roles at SME, Mallory spent several years at Columbia, where she developed the digital marketing team and managed campaigns for artists including Bob Dylan, Jack White and Adele, among others. Before joining Columbia in 2006, she held roles at Sony Pictures and Ticketmaster.
“Jenifer has been heavily involved in the global success stories of many artists over recent years, and has built a fantastic international marketing division for the U.S. labels,” said Stringer. “In addition to these responsibilities, she has also been involved in helping shape our wider global strategy meetings and communication, so this promotion is fully deserved.”
In 2016, Mallory was included in Billboard‘s 40 Under 40 list. A year later she was honored along with Julie Swidler and Celine Joshua as part of Sony’s “power trio” in Billboard‘s Women In Music issue.
