Seu Jorge to Perform David Bowie Songs on Tribute Tour
The Brazilian singer/songwriter will reprise his "Life Aquatic" role in a series of concerts in the U.S. and Canada.

Seu Jorge gained an international following when he appeared as the enigmatic David Bowie-singing sailor Pelé dos Santos in Wes Anderson’s 2004 movie The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou. His The Life Aquatic Studio Sessions album was released on the Hollywood Records label in 2005.
This fall, in a tribute to Bowie, the Brazilian singer/songwriter will reprise his Portuguese bossa-flavored covers of “Ziggy Stardust,” “Rebel, Rebel,” “Life on Mars?” and other tracks during a series of Life Aquatic concerts. Images from the film will play on screens shaped like boat sails during the themed shows.
The November tour includes dates at New York’s Town Hall, Boston Symphony Hall and San Francisco’s Regency. Shows at Portland’s Revolution Hall and Los Angeles’ Ace Hotel are already sold out.
