Santana’s first Spanish-language album, “Corazon,” debuts at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart, moving 22,000 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan. “Corazon” also enters Top Rock Albums at No. 1 and the Billboard 200 at No. 9, granting Santana its 13th top 10 on the latter list dating back to 1969, when the act’s self-titled set peaked at No. 4.
A track from the new set, “La Flaca,” featuring Juanes, re-enters Hot Latin Songs at No. 46. Santana’s feature-filled set includes Latin superstars like Diego Torres, Romeo Santos and Gloria Estefan, among others. “Corazon” also contains a sampling of English-language tracks with the likes of R&B titan Miguel and reggae giant Ziggy Marley.

J Balvin shoots 4-1 on Latin Airplay, taking the Greatest Gainer tag with “6AM,” featuring Farruko. It’s the fast-rising Colombian star’s first No. 1 on the chart, with the song reaching 12 million audience impressions (a 25 percent increase), according to Nielsen BDS. The track concurrently jumps 7-3 on Hot Latin Songs, aided by sales of 2,000 downloads (up 4 percent). “6AM” is the third single off Balvin’s debut studio album “La Familia,” which peaked at No. 14 on Top Latin Albums in November. Balvin recently secured a supporting slot on Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull’s tour, which is slated to kick off in Newark, N.J., on Sept. 12.
On Regional Mexican Airplay, La Arrolladora Band el Limon de Rene Camacho’s “Mi Segunda Vida” steps 2-1 to become the group’s ninth leader on the ranking. On Hot Latin Songs, it climbs 18-13, earning Streaming Gainer honors (71,600 U.S. streams, up 41 percent). A video clip for the song, released on May 9, has amassed 500,000 worldwide views. The track is the third single from “Gracias Por Creer,” the group’s latest set, released last August.
