Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus Signs With Dice For Ticketing

Dice will provide exclusive digital ticketing services for legendary metal, hardcore and punk bar Saint Vitus in New York.

Music discovery and ticketing platform Dice will provide exclusive digital ticketing services for legendary metal and punk bar Saint Vitus in New York.

The tightly-packed and beloved bar and performance space on the tip of Greenpoint, Brooklyn has taken on a bigger-than-life profile as a CBGBs for Gen Z, with the Saint Vitus logo serving as a punk rock signifier worn across shirts, hoodies and stickers.

The venue is tight — 250-capacity for most shows — but it has hosted a number of shows for larger bands that have pushed rock culture like Chuck Ragan’s Hot Water Music, post hardcore band Thursday and pioneering punk groups like Face To Face, Blink 182 and legendary hard-charging outfit Cro Mags, who helped solidify the New York hardcore scene with bands like Sick of It All, Agnostic Front and Gorilla Biscuits.

“We’re huge fans of Saint Vitus here at Dice. In just over a decade, this inconspicuous bar in Greenpoint has put on some of the biggest punk, metal and hardcore shows ever,” says Russ Tannen, chief revenue officer at Dice. “Saint Vitus is as genuine and authentic as you’ll get in a music venue – and that’s why fans love it so much. We can’t wait to bring their epic line-up of shows to even more fans once we can go out again.”

Earlier today, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that concerts could resume at New York venues on April 1 at 33 percent capacity with up to 100 people in attendance.

“We are really excited for the Dice era here at Saint Vitus Bar,” says David Castillo, co-owner of Saint Vitus. “We are excited to emerge with a better experience for heavy music fans! Viva DICE!”
