Round Hill Music has formed a partnership with Zync Music by investing in the boutique synchronization firm and merging its own synch staff into the newly named Zync, Powered By Round Hill Music.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but in addition to operating as a joint venture going forward, the Zync co-founders and co-CEOs — Marisa Baldi and Sanne Hagelsten — will head up the combined synch team and remain as principals of Zync.

“We are extremely proud of the reputation we’ve established as curators of cutting edge music,” Baldi said in a statement. “Round Hill’s worldwide network of resources gives us the ability to dramatically grow our business, while maintaining what has made us successful — our boutique, hands-on, personalized service.”

In addition to gaining the financial resources to expand its roster, Zync will now represent the Round Hill catalog as well as benefiting from that company’s publishing and administrative expertise, Hagelsten said in a statement.
