Ross Copperman hits No. 1 on Billboard‘s Country Songwriters chart (dated April 4), fueled by four songwriting credits on the Hot Country Songs chart.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s “Nobody But You,” which Copperman co-wrote with Tommy Lee James, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne, leads at No. 5, with 28.7 million in all-format radio reach (up 13%), 6.6 million U.S. streams (up 20%) and 8,000 downloads sold (up 25%), according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. The song concurrently rises 10-8 on Country Airplay.

Copperman also co-wrote Luke Bryan’s “What She Wants Tonight,” which rises to No. 6 on Hot Country Songs and takes over at No. 1 on Country Airplay.

Here’s a look at Copperman’s songwriting entries on the latest Hot Country Songs chart:

No. 19, Kelsea Ballerini x Halsey, “The Other Girl” (Ballerini, Halsey, McAnally)

Copperman concurrently rises 7-4 on the Country Producers chart, reaching a new peak thanks to Ballerini and Halsey’s “The Other Girl,” which he co-produced with Ballerini and McAnally, and Gabby Barrett’s “I Hope” (at No. 3 on Hot Country Songs), which he solely produced.

Dann Huff leads Country Producers for a 34th week, thanks to credits on Kane Brown’s “Homesick,” Brett Young’s “Catch” and Thomas Rhett’s “Beer Can’t Fix,” featuring Jon Pardi.

Copperman succeeds Jimmy Robbins atop Country Songwriters, after Robbins ruled for four weeks, powered by Maren Morris’ “The Bones” and Ballerini’s “homecoming queen?”

Copperman boasts an impressive songwriting and producing history on Billboard‘s charts. He’s penned 50 Hot Country Songs hits, including two No. 1s (Bryan’s “Strip It Down” and Kenny Chesney’s “Setting the World on Fire,” featuring P!nk). Thanks to Bryan’s “What She Wants Tonight,” he ups his count to 17 No. 1s as a writer on Country Airplay. Copperman has also produced 13 No. 1s on Country Airplay and one on Hot Country Songs (Dierks Bentley’s “Somewhere on a Beach”).

The weekly Country Songwriters and Country Producers charts are based on total points accrued by a songwriter and producer, respectively, for each attributed song that appears on the Hot Country Songs chart; As with Billboard‘s yearly recaps, multiple writers or producers split points for each song equally (and the dividing of points will lead to occasional ties on rankings).
