Rich Homie Quan Issues Statement on Alleged Miami Attack and Boat-Assisted Exit

Rich Homie Quan has addressed his alleged attack last month on a bouncer at a Miami Beach club and leaving the scene in a boat.

In addition to dropping the video yesterday for his latest single, “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh),” Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan has issued a statement to Billboard regarding his alleged attack last month on a bouncer at a Miami Beach club and leaving the scene in a boat.

“With respect to the questions concerning the incident with the security guard, I am innocent of the accusations he has made against me. However, I am not at liberty to expand further at this time because the investigation into the events of that day is ongoing.”

Quan, who is also featured on the Furious 7 soundtrack (on the track “Ride Out” with Kid Ink, YG, Wale and Tyga), is currently recording his debut album for indie label Think It’s A Game Records.

It’s interesting to note that the video, which the label says was filmed in February, shows a boat at the end as the tag line “To Be Continued …” stretches across the screen.
