Lecrae’s ‘Restoration’ Puts Him Back at No. 1 on Top Christian Albums Chart

Lecrae lands his ninth No. 1 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums

Lecrae lands his ninth No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Christian Albums chart, as Restoration bows atop the tally dated Sept. 5 with 11,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

Lecrae last led the list with Let the Trap Say Amen (with Zaytoven), which launched at No. 1 in July 2018.

Dating to Lecrae’s first Top Christian Albums leader, Rehab, which bowed atop the chart in October 2010, his nine No. 1s are the most among soloists and tied with worship music collective Passion’s for the most among all acts (followed by Hillsong Worship with seven and Hillsong United, MercyMe and Chris Tomlin, each with six in that span).

All nine of Lecrae’s Top Christian Albums No. 1s have debuted at the chart’s pinnacle.

The 14-track Restoration features collaborations with, among others, Kirk Franklin, John Legend and YK Osiris.
