Red Hot Chili Peppers Will Perform at Oceana’s ‘Rock Under The Stars’ Fundraiser

Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to headline Oceana’s fourth annual “Rock Under The Stars” fundraiser event dedicated to helping rebuild abundant and biodiverse oceans. The charitable celebration will take place in a private residence in Los Angeles, Calif. Oct. 12.

The legendary rock band isn’t the first musical group to support Oceana, which is the largest international advocacy organization dedicated to preserving the ocean.

“Sting heroically helped us launch Rock Under the Stars in 2016. In the following years, Don Henley and Dead & Co. featuring John Mayer helped us make it one of LA’s most exciting and elite fundraisers,” said Oceana Board President Keith Addis in a press release. “This year, with the generous support of the amazing Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rock Under the Stars is firmly established as a world-class event which will help Oceana fund its mission to stop the scourge of ocean plastic pollution.”
