Real Street, a brand new, immersive hip hop lifestyle event and festival — and one of the first major hip hop festivals in central Orange County in more than a decade — is making its debut Aug 10 and 11.
Created by John Reese‘s Synergy Global Entertainment, iHeartMedia’s REAL 92.3, and host venue Honda Center, Real Street will feature three stages and performances by A$AP Rocky, Future, Migos, Meek Mill, Big Sean, Miguel, Rae Sremmurd, 2 Chainz and more, with additional special guests to be announced soon.
The concerts will take place outside, while the Honda Center will be transformed into Big Boy’s Neighborhood with a West Coast Customs car show, barber shop and nail salon hosted by longtime radion personality Kurt “Big Boy” Alexander.
“The building will be open so people can actually use a real bathroom at a music festival,” Reese explained in a press release, noting that Big Boy’s Neighborhood will be located on the Honda Center floor center court. Doc Wynter, evp of urban and hip hop at iHeartMedia calls Real Street “an immersive, true-to-culture hip hop music experience” whole Honda Center president and ceo Tim Ryan says “with Honda Center’s available amenities for all attendees, we are confident Real Street will be a one-of-a-kind festival experience.”
Real Street will also include an outdoor art show, vendors village and the California Love Thunderdome. Early bird single day general admission tickets start at $89.00 (plus fees) and early bird weekend general admission tickets start at $159.00 (plus fees). Tickets and VIP lounge passes and tables are on sale now.
