RCA Records has named John Fleckenstein and Joe Riccitelli co-presidents, the label announced Friday (Jan. 19). In the new role, the two will oversee all of RCA’s day-to-day operations with the exception of A&R.

Fleckenstein was formerly the company’s EVP, while Riccitelli was general manager, EVP of promotion. Both will remain based out of New York City and report to chairman and CEO Peter Edge.

The moves come after Tom Corson left his post as president and COO at the Sony Music subsidiary RCA to become co-chairman and COO at Warner Music Group

“I am excited for this next chapter in RCA’s history and I couldn’t be more thrilled to elevate John and Joe into these enhanced roles,” said Edge in a statement. “Their knowledge in their respective areas and relationships with the artists themselves have helped turn RCA into the thriving community it has become over the last couple of years. We’re so fortunate to have an incredibly experienced, strong senior management team driving the company toward further success.”

Riccitelli was promoted to RCA’s GM/EVP promotion in 2013 and in this position led his team to securing hit records for acts such as Justin Timberlake, P!nk, Zayn, Kesha, Khalid, G-Eazy, Cage The Elephant, Bleachers and others.
