DJ Khaled‘s “Shining,” featuring Beyoncé and Jay Z, earns the week’s highest debut on Billboard‘s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart (dated March 4), arriving at No. 25. The track is the lead single from Khaled’s forthcoming 10th studio set, Grateful, and concurrently bows at No. 62 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The track was released the night of Feb. 12 following the Grammy Awards (with the producer’s infant son Asahd on the cover art). It sold 24,000 downloads in the tracking week ending Feb. 16, according to Nielsen Music, concurrently notching a No. 13 start on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart. Streaming also helps push the song onto the tallies, with 2.1 million U.S. plays in its first four full days of tracking.

“Shining” starts strong at radio, debuting at No. 14 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart (11.9 million audience impressions in the week ending Feb. 19), marking both Khaled and Jay Z’s best-ever arrival (of Jay Z’s 113 career charted titles and Khaled’s 27). Beyoncé scores her third-highest entrance, and the best since “Formation” bowed at No. 11 (Feb. 27, 2016). WEDR Miami (99 Jamz) is the leader in plays (65) for the week ending Feb. 19 among all Nielsen-monitored R&B/hip-hop stations.
