Rage Against the Machine Add Three MSG Dates to Reunion Tour
The reunited rockers will now have a five-night stand in New York.

Rage Against the Machine will rage just a bit harder in New York on their upcoming reunion tour. The group added a trio of new dates to their August Madison Square Garden run, pushing the total number of gigs at the iconic venue to five. In addition to previously announced shows on Aug. 10 and 11, the band will hang around to perform on the 13th, 14th and 17th.
The tour also now includes a double-down in East Troy, Wisconsin, where they will play on July 10 and 11th. Tickets for the added shows will go on sale on Thursday (Feb. 27) at 11 a.m. CST here. The band’s first tour since 2011 is slated to kick off on March 26 at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas and feature gigs at a series of festivals, including Coachella, Boston Calling, Firefly Music and Ottawa Bluesfest.
Joining Rage on the outing is incendiary rap duo Run the Jewels (Killer Mike and El-P) for all headline dates — excluding Chicago — in support of their highly-anticipated new album, RTJ4, out this spring. Through ticketing, volunteering and band donations, Rage Against the Machine will be working with multiple charities and activist organizations throughout the tour. In addition, 100% of all proceeds from El Paso, Las Cruces and Phoenix will go to immigrant rights organizations.
