Prophets of Rage are new to Billboard‘s Top Rock Albums chart, but their members certainly aren’t.
The six-member band features the guitarist (Tom Morello), bassist (Tim Commerford) and drummer (Brad Wilk) of Rage Against the Machine as well as Public Enemy‘s Chuck D and DJ Lord and Cypress Hill‘s B-Real.
The group’s debut EP, The Party’s Over, starts at No. 5 on the Sept. 17-dated chart with 7,000 sold, according to Nielsen Music, as well as No. 2 on Hard Rock Albums and No. 4 on Alternative Albums.

Commerford and Wilk make their first appearances on Top Rock Albums as fully fledged band members since Audioslave topped the chart for a week in 2006 with Revelations; Wilk drummed on Black Sabbath‘s 2013 No. 1 album 13.
The group’s debut single, the aptly named “Prophets of Rage,” concurrently rises to 8-6 on the Mainstream Rock Songs airplay chart and 42-40 on Hot Rock Songs.
