Feid, J Balvin, Nicky Jam, Maluma, Sech and Justin Quiles’ “Porfa” lands atop the Latin Airplay chart (dated Aug. 29) as the song hikes 6-1 in its ninth week on the list. It’s the first No. 1 for Feid and Quiles who began their Latin Airplay charting history in 2016.
The original version of the song, which is part of Feid’s Ferxxo (Vol. 1:M.O.R.), was written by Feid, Quiles and Sky Rompiendo and was produced by Sky. J Balvin, Maluma, Nicky Jam, Sech, and Wain co-wrote the song’s remix, which was released June 26.
“Porfa” lands atop Latin Airplay with 11 million in audience impressions (up 42%), earned in the week ending Aug. 23, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. Among the song’s strongest supporters in the latest tracking week are Puerto Rico’s WKAQ, WMEG and WODA; New York’s WSKQ and WPAT; Miami’s WXDJ, Phoenix’s KQMR and Houston’s KAMA.
“Porfa” concurrently climbs 5-1 on Latin Rhythm Airplay, Feid and Quiles’ first No. 1 there.
Over on Hot Latin Songs, which blends airplay, streams and digital sales, “Porfa” gets closer to the top 10, jumping 13-11 with the Greatest Gainer/Airplay trophy.
Karol G, Sech Win: Elsewhere on the Latin charts, two new top 10s arrive on Latin Rhythm Airplay.
While Karol G nabs her seventh top 10, Sech ups his career count to sixth.
