Pink’s ‘Just Like Fire’ Tops Adult Contemporary Chart & Passes 1 Million Sold
P!nk earns her third leader on the Adult Contemporary radio airplay chart, as "Just Like Fire" is concurrently passes the one million sales milestone.

P!nk burns a path to No. 1 on Billboard‘s Adult Contemporary radio airplay chart (dated Oct. 8), as “Just Like Fire” rises 2-1.
The song is P!nk’s third AC No. 1. She first topped the chart dated April 27, 2013, with “Try” and followed with a nine-week reign (beginning July 6, 2013) for “Just Give Me a Reason,” featuring Nate Ruess.

“Fire” tops an airplay chart for the first time, after reaching No. 2 on Adult Pop Songs, No. 4 on the all-genre Radio Songs chart and No. 7 on Pop Songs. On the Billboard Hot 100, the song peaked at No. 10 in June, becoming P!nk’s 15th top 10 on the tally.
“Fire” first crowned the Kid Digital Song Sales chart for three weeks in May. The single, from the movie Alice Through the Looking Glass, concurrently passes 1 million downloads sold to date, according to Nielsen Music. It reaches the milestone thanks to its latest frame of 11,000 sold in the week ending Sept. 22. P!nk now boasts 15 songs that have each sold at least 1 million downloads.
Also notably, “Fire,” released on Walt Disney/RCA Records, marks the first AC No. 1 on the Disney imprint since 2009, when Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb” led for 15 weeks.

Meanwhile, P!nk is on fire with another song with “fire” in its title. Country superstar Kenny Chesney‘s “Setting the World on Fire,” on which she’s featured, holds at its No. 2 high on Hot Country Songs and bullets at No. 6 on Country Airplay (after reaching No. 5), up by 6 percent to 38 million in radio audience on the latter list. It also debuts on Adult Pop Songs at No. 35, marking Chesney’s first visit to the survey; he’s charted 84 songs on Country Airplay, dating to his 1993 arrival.
