Following the deadly attack at Paris’ Bataclan theater during the Eagles of Death Metal concert on Friday, a campaign has been launched in a bid to get the Californian rock band to the top of the U.K. music charts.

To “show solidarity against terrorism and support for peace,” a fan-led Facebook group has been set up urging people to buy the group’s cover of Duran Duran’s “Save a Prayer.” As of Monday morning, the Facebook group had over 7,000 followers.

“We thought it would be a nice gesture to put their brilliant version of ‘Save A Prayer’ to the U.K. No.1 spot as a show of support to the band and all of those affected,” the group said.

The song is currently at number 37 in the iTunes charts and number three on Amazon. The U.K. singles chart closes at one minute before midnight on Nov. 19. It isn’t yet known whether Duran Duran, the royalty holders, will donate proceeds from the single to charity.
