NOTD & Catello Cruise to No. 1 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay Chart With ‘Nobody’

Plus, moves for Tyron Hapi, SUD and Sam Bruno, Diplo & Sonny Fodera.

NOTD and Catello capture the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart (dated Jan. 2) with “Nobody.” It’s the second leader for NOTD, the Swedish production duo of Tobias Danielsson and Samuel Brandt, and the first for vocal act Catello.

Previously, NOTD’s collab with Felix Jaehn, “So Close,” featuring Georgia Ku and Captain Cuts, topped the chart for two weeks in March and April 2019.

“Nobody” is earning nearly all its airplay from core-dance affiliates, including leaders KMVQ-HD2 San Francisco, Music Choice’s Dance/EDM channel and WCPY Chicago, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. (The Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart measures radio airplay on a select group of full-time dance stations, along with plays during mix shows on nearly 80 top 40-formatted reporters.)

Additionally on Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Tyron Hapi, SUD and Sam Bruno bound 12-8 with “Lonely Heart,” marking the first Billboard top 10 for all three acts.

Plus, Diplo earns his eighth Dance/Mix Show Airplay top 10 and Sonny Fodera scores his first with their collab “Turn Back Time” (11-10).
