Phosphorescent Manager Nick Stern Exits Vector for Zivkovic’s Split Second

Manager Nick Stern has exited Vector after nine years to join Izvor "Izzy" Zivkovic at New York-based Split Second Management.

Manager Nick Stern has exited Vector after nine years to join Izvor “Izzy” Zivkovic at New York-based management company Split Second. Stern is bringing longtime clients Phosphorescent, Saint Motel, the Black Angels and Ben Abraham with him to Split Second, which also counts Arcade Fire and Banks among its clients.

In a note emailed to industry colleagues, Stern saluted Vector heads Ken Levitan and Jack Rovner “for not only tolerating me, but helping me grow as a manager and as a person.” Stern will be bringing former Vector colleagues Hampton Howerton and Lauren Pattenaude with him in his new role at Split Second.

Prior to Vector, Stern ran his own company 7-10 Music and worked in publicity at Atlantic Records, where he began a 16-year professional relationship with Kid Rock.

Zivkovic managed Kanye West for years before parting ways with the artist in in March 2018. He also manages Kevin Garrett and Tara Lily and co-manages Jack Garratt with Mumford & Sons manager Adam Tudhope.
