Mustard and Migos‘ “Pure Water” hits the top 10 of Billboard‘s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for the first time, jumping 14-10 on the ranking dated May 4.
The collaboration between the renowned producer and the Atlanta trio climbs 17-14 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs chart, up 15% to 19.2 million U.S. streams in the week ending April 25, according to Nielsen Music. The track also netted a 14% upgrade to 6,000 downloads.

Additionally, “Water” scores key gains at other radio formats: It jumps into the top 10 of Rap Airplay (11-8) thanks to a 15% surge in audience, while also ascending a rank to a new No. 8 high on the Rhythmic Songs airplay list with a 6% boost in plays.
“Water” secures Migos’ sixth top 10 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs among 43 total entries. The trio of Quavo, Offset and Takeoff previously visited the tier with:
Song Title, Artist, Peak Position, Peak Year:
“Bad and Boujee,” featuring Lil Uzi Vert, No. 1 (10 weeks), 2017
“I Get the Bag” (Gucci Mane featuring Migos), No. 5, 2017
“Motorsport,” with Nicki Minaj & Cardi B, No. 3, 2017
“Stir Fry,” No. 5, 2018
“Walk It Talk It,” featuring Drake, No. 7, 2018
Mustard, meanwhile, claims first Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs top 10 in his fifth appearance as a credited artist. Having previously released material under the name DJ Mustard, he tops his prior best showing, a No. 12 peak via his featured role on Ty Dolla $ign‘s “Or Nah” in 2014.
As a producer, however, “Water” marks Mustard’s 16th top 10. The sum includes two No. 1s: Big Sean‘s eight-week leader “I Don’t F**k With You,” featuring E-40 in 2014, and Rihanna‘s “Needed Me,” which reigned for two weeks in 2017.
The hitmaker moves into a four-way tie for the most top 10s production credits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in the 2010s, matching Kanye West, Matthew “Boi-1da” Samuels and Mike Will Made-It. The quartet trails only Noah “40” Shebib; best known for his work with Drake, he boasts 17 top 10s this decade.
