Mumford & Sons Announce Three North American Headlining Dates

Mumford & Sons have added three new tour dates to their already impressive month of May.

In addition to the group’s opening engagements with U2 and festival headlining gigs, Marcus Mumford and Co. will play three special shows in cities they haven’t frequented enough: Louisville, Ky., Burgettstown, Pa. and Camden, N.J.

“When the band are on the road, they don’t always get the chance to visit all the places they’d like to,” reads a statement on the band’s website. “It’s an opportunity to catch up with a few cities they haven’t been to recently and have a party.”

The English rock band will hit Louisville (KFC Yum Center) on May 23, followed by Burgettstown (KeyBank Pavilion) on May 24 and Camden (BB&T Pavilion) on May 25. Tickets for the Burgettstown and Camden shows will be available Friday, Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. ET, while the Louisville on-sale will start at 12 p.m. ET on the 27th.

Because the string of dates only include three shows, Mumford are holding a Fan Verified Presale in an attempt to keep scalpers from getting a hold of tickets. Fans can register for presale access before 3 p.m. ET on Tuesday (Jan. 24) here.
