Warner Music Latin’s Miguel Garrocho Leaves Industry for Career as Life Coach

After 10 years in Warner Music Latin as marketing director and 28 years overall working for major record labels, Miguel Garrocho has left the label to launch a new career as a life coach.

Yes, there is life after the music industry.

After 10 years at Warner Music Latin as marketing director and 28 years overall working for major record labels, Miguel Garrocho has left the label to launch a new career as a life coach.

“It’s time to embark on a new journey,  open up new possibilities and start paving new paths,” said Garrocho in an email.

He will continue to be based out of Miami, but instead of hashing out marketing plans, he’ll put into play his skills as a certified “Professional Leader & Coach,” “Life Manager,” “Certified University Expert in Emotional Intelligence” and “Certified University Expert in Multiple Intelligences,” among other certifications.

“It’s a transformation to a better version of you, because with a better version of you, you can better impact the world around you,” wrote Garrocho, who is leaving Warner on good terms. “So, to be able to exercise it as such, I will have to start with myself and embark on a new stage in my life, with the challenges, risks, fears and uncertainties that these changes will entail.  I am extremely passionate, excited and motivated with the new direction that my life will take.”
