MercyMe’s “Grace Got You” ascends 2-1 in its 21st week on Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart (dated July 14), increasing 3 percent to 9.5 million audience impressions in the tracking week ending July 8, according to Nielsen Music.

On the hybrid Hot Christian Songs chart, which combines airplay, streaming and sales, “Grace” bumps 4-3 for a new peak.

With “Grace” moving into the Christian Airplay penthouse, MercyMe achieves its 15th leader — extending its record for the most No. 1s in the 15-year history of the chart. The veteran band, which formed in 1994, scored its first No. 1 when “Word of God Speak” topped the Aug. 16, 2003-dated list (two months after the chart’s launch) and reigned for 23 weeks. It’s the longest ruling No. 1 in the history of the chart.

Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp and tobyMac are all tied for the second-most No. 1s on the list, with nine apiece.

Meanwhile, Hillsong Young & Free’s new set lll arrives at No. 2 on Top Christian Albums, as it earned 7,000 equivalent album units in its opening week ending July 5. Of that sum, 3,000 were in traditional album sales.

The aptly titled lll, which marks the group’s third full-length studio album, is its fourth Top Christian Albums top 5, including two No. 1s.

Hillsong Y&F’s debut album We Are Young & Free bowed atop Top Christian Albums in October, 2013; followed by an EP, This is Living, which also debuted at No. 1 in Jan., 2015. The group’s second full-length studio LP, Youth Revival arrived at No. 2 in March, 2016.

Hillsong Young & Free is the youth oriented arm of the Hillsong collectives, which also include Hillsong United and Hillsong Worship.
