Just days after Goldenvoice announced the 2019 lineup for the world’s largest country music festival, Billboard is excited to announced the panel “The Mane Attraction: An Insider’s Guide To Stagecoach” on Nov. 6 at the Billboard Live Music Summit in Beverly Hills.
This panel will take fans backstage with festival talent buyer Stacy Vee and the team that runs the massive country celebration, held each April in the Coachella Valley. Vee will discuss how she works more than a year in advance to carefully curate each lineup, working with dozens of headliners, developing acts, grill master Guy Fieri and global dance artist Diplo to stage the three day event, which this year will be headlined by Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood and Eric Church April 24-26, 2020 at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, Calif.
“I’m looking forward to hanging out with some of my favorite ladies talking about my favorite topic, Stagecoach!” Vee tells Billboard. “Folks will get the opportunity to get a taste of what things look like from the inside, what inspires us and guides decision making.”
Joining Vee on the Stagecoach panel is artist Nikki Lane, who curates the festival’s Stage Stop Marketplace featuring vintage western wear including items from her own High Class Hillbilly boutique in Nashville.
Other panelists will include AEG’s vice president for the global partnerships Caroline Burruss, AEG Presents senior digital project manager of festivals Lindsay Lyons, Goldenvoice’s director of festival marketing Mapi Moran and CAA agent Meredith Jones.
The 2019 Billboard Live Music Summit and Awards is the music industry’s top touring conference and a must-attend event for anyone working in live entertainment.
