Boulder, Colorado-based booking agency and management company Madison House has hired three new agents and announced a new location for its Nashville headquarters, leasing office space above the Basement bar and venue just southeast of Music Row.
Joining Madison House are former New Frontier Touring agent Jon Bell, former Rogue Agency rep and Bay Area agent Sahil Mehta and the Art Agency founder Allen Roper. Bell will work from Madison House’s new Nashville office while Mehta will work from California.
“Nadia Prescher and I very much look forward to an exciting beginning to 2019 with the expansion of the Madison House family,” Madison House partner Jesse Aratow tells Billboard. “These skilled agents and the talented artists they represent are a great fit to the agency we have been growing for 23 years. We are excited about their participation in our continued strategic growth in Nashville, and now the Bay Area.”
Prescher added “2018 brought on some much-needed change for Madison House.” Since the company’s formation in 1996, she continued, “we’ve initiated distinct growth stages at specific times. This is certainly one of them, and I’m inspired and thrilled with our plan for the year and beyond.”
Bell served as an agent at New Frontier Touring for nearly nine years and is bringing a number of clients to Madison House including Sister Sparrow, The Main Squeeze, Cowboy Mouth, Ryan Montbleau, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Driftwood, Cris Jacobs and more.
“I’m really excited about this new opportunity with Madison House — I’m thrilled about this new endeavor for my artists and myself,” Bell tells Billboard. “I have always admired what Madison House has accomplished and continues to do in this competitive world of agencies, big and small, and I feel great about the prospects.”
Bell will share the Nashville office with agents Jordan Burger, Mary Allen and college agent Harry Woosley, as well as new assistants Jenn Wiemann and Henry Booth.
“Being a part of the first permanent office in Nashville is just an extra bonus and we can’t wait to show off the new digs,” says Bell of the new Nashville headquarters at 1604 8th Avenue South. “We want to build community for our artists when traveling to and through Nashville, to feel welcomed while in town, as they are the most important part of what we do.”

Mehta is bringing a number of clients to Madison House including CharlestheFirst, Yheti, Digital Ethos, Tsuruda and CHEE and will be a West Coast presence for the agency’s roster of California artists, including Bassnectar, Cut Chemist, Colin Hay, El Ten Eleven, Pacific Dub, Tea Leaf Green, Monophonics, the Polish Ambassador and Toad the Wet Sprocket. Joining Mehta in Oakland is his assistant Isabel Shere.
“I’m incredibly excited to take this step with the team at Madison House and to further develop my roster and skills as an agent under the seasoned tutelage of Nadia Prescher and Jesse Aratow,” Mehta says. “Their reputation in my lane of music is longstanding and the way they carry themselves aligns perfectly with my personal ethos regarding working in the music industry.”
Roper will work in Madison House’s Boulder office, relocatiing from his home state of Georgia in the city of Athens. An agent and entreprenuer, Roper launched Art Agency in early 2017 after a two-year run at boutique firm Hoplight. He represents up-and-coming bands Funk You and LITZ, along with Roxy Roca and Voodoo Visionary.
“I have admired from afar what Nadia Prescher and Jesse Aratow have created,” says Roper, “and I have been impressed with the company’s growth over the years. I look forward to becoming part of the team and I am excited for the new opportunities and experiences Madison House will provide.”
